Titanium is an important resource in Colobot, vital for the construction of buildings (via the astronaut's neutron gun), bots, (through the bot factory and build function) and power cells (using the power cell factory).
It is found commonly on all planets, both on the surface as chunks of ore and embedded in the subsoil. Titanium ore requires a converter to process it into titanium cubes, while titanium in the subsoil requires a derrick to extract it. Sniffers are often required to locate titanium in the subsoil, and will lay down a red cross when they detect some.
Additionally, several titanium cubes and power cells are often present on the spaceship at the beginning of each mission.
