Derelict objects are bots or buildings which have been destroyed.
Derelict bots (or "wrecks") are bots that have been disabled by spiders or friendly fire, and they can be converted back into a usable titanium cube by a recycler .
Derelict buildings (or "ruins") are destroyed buildings that appear in some missions as obstacles and scenery. Recyclers cannot convert them.
